DISNEYLAND!!
Wind Rain or Shine!
Well, I decided to tag along with Mackay for one more trip before sister comes and rains on Eastons single life. Well, rained it did....LITERALLY... more like a downpour. I totally regretted not taking Easton to Disneyland in September, so we figured this time around would be a great chance to do it since it wouldn't cost us much more than going to St. George for the weekend. Can't beat that right...Especially if a nice hotel is involved! All I can say is forcasters are a joke, and so is the weather on the internet. Two days before we left, it said the day that was suppose to be sunny, it was a downpour, and the days it was suppose to be rainy, were sunny. Well, we tackled Disneyland on Wednesday nonetheless, and we couldn't have had a better time...all because of a little boy. The cold and the rain didn't effect Easton whatsoever even with bright pink hands sitting in dumbo in the pouring rain. He anxiously waited in line wanting to see what the next ride would be...Flying in the elephant was by far the favorite, along with the merry-go-round being a close second and Pirates being the third. He had all control while we rode the Buzz Light Year ride which had us totally
laughing the whole time...Luckily the most of the rides were indoors or covered...and a total perk was the fact that we never waited for more than about 5 minutes for each one...which is perfect for a 2 1/2 year old and his parents! Anyway, we had a blast, were totally soaked when we left from head to toe, and probably didn't have much less fun than if it were sunny! Definitely a trip that we won't forget!
On top of this...and you can't really tell from these pics...but i did have an unfortunate event from highlighting my hair and then using a flat iron that was pretty much on the fritz. For those who know me, I haven't had bangs since about 8th grade, and the thing fried my hair so bad that now I have more than i need. About 2/3rds of them are pulled back and when my hair is 2 days old, it is pretty funny because I can comb it back and I look like Joe Dirt's sister. It is sick! Well, my advice for all you who use a flat iron...fork out the money and buy the CHI...it is worth the $140.
Anyway, hope everyone is good! I guess we'll see you again in about 3 months!!
