Amazing! A picture of all three of us together! This is a very rare occasion!
Easton's first time at the zoo...The train was the favorite...it is probably the longest time he has sat still! =)
Easton loves the squirt gun as much as Sunny
Mackay is out of town yet again, this time for pleasure to golf in St. George, but after awhile it is all the same to me! Our family is doing well. Mackay has been travelling a lot lately...about once a week, so Easton is accumulating quite the wardrobe since every time Mackay travels to a new state, he brings him back a t-shirt. This time next summer, he will easily be able to wear a new state for each day of the week! I recently gave Mackay an ultimatum telling him someday he better be able to afford to take me to his 5 star hotels, rides in limousines, and flying in private planes someday...since that is his rock star lifestyle right now. I am hoping that maybe there will be a SanDiego trip in the mix this year and then I can fly down with Easton and take him to Sea World...We'll see though. We'd really like to take a big trip to Hawaii before we have another kid (no I am not announcing anything) so if that opportunity arises and we can convince our families to watch Easton for a few days, that may be first in line. I guess first and foremost we need to finish our yard and then maybe we can talk about it. All we need is our dumb rip-off of a fence installed and window well covers and Easton's life will be complete. Then I guess we'll go from there!
Anyway, let's talk about the exciting little person in our family. About a month ago Easton learned to pedal his bike. He is so proud and always looks back to make sure I am not helping him. His worst problem with it though is he doesn't watch where he is going so half the time i am making sure he isn't riding off of the curb or our porch or something like that. He has grown to love to sing songs and read books...all the time. I love it. Keeping him in the house is quite the chore and i think eventually we'll have to buy some locks for the front door to prevent our escape artist from running in the road. Fortunately the dead bolts are impossible to open, but I won't risk passing it by him since he figured out those lame door handle protectors in about 3 months...which was like a year ago...Running through the sprinklers, jumping on the trampoline, riding his bike, and playing in the pool are by far the favorites for him right now...
Easton is the best thing we could have asked for...even on the bad days...he is a sweetheart and is always willing to give hugs, say I love you, and is even quick to say I'm sorry when he has done something wrong. We are so lucky!
